St Margaret’s, Putney, a friendly inclusive church in south-west London, seeks to appoint a new Director of Music.

St Margaret’s has an established reputation for music in its services, weekly recitals and regular use for rehearsals and recordings.

The volunteer (robed) choir are supported by professional singers, and we have a number of regular choristers and choral scholars. We have a purpose-built organ, which is perfect for Baroque music (Lammermuir, 1993) and a superb concert grand piano (Yamaha C7, 1991).

Salary: £10,500+ (depending on experience) + fees for occasional offices (weddings, funerals &c.) Closing date: 5pm on 21st November 2025. Appointment is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.
