For seven weeks beginning on 18th September, between 7-9pm, David Curl and I will be hosting 'Date Night' at St Margaret's. These evenings are also known as 'The Marriage Course', a relationship building course that came out of Holy Trinity Brompton in 1996 which has been run in over 117 countries for over 1.5 million couples. David and I attended ourselves some years ago and not only enjoyed it immensely but found the practical tools very helpful in navigating our relationship and we have gone back to the material over the years.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

The evening is based around a meal, just you and your partner, candlelight, romantic music, glass of wine, we will be recreating a restaurant atmosphere. The evening includes watching a video and discussing the content with your partner between courses. You will each receive a workbook, where you can discuss your feelings and thoughts about the topic being covered with each other.  It's important to stress that there is no group work: at no time will you be asked to share anything about your relationship with anyone else.

WHAT DOES THE COST COVER?

Over the seven weeks the course will cover themes such as building strong foundations, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, the impact of family (past and present), and love in action.

IS THERE A COST?

Yes, we are offering a significantly reduced cost of £120 per couple for the course, £8.50 per person per week this includes the course materials and a two-course meal provided by Cook with wine.
