Rehearsal and recording Space
St Margaret’s has an excellent acoustic and a fine organ and grand piano. The area is usually quiet and so has great potential for rehearsals and recording for professional musicians. There are also smaller rooms available for practice. Arrangements are made on an individual basis with the office. In the first instance contact office@stmargaretsputney.org for more details.
We are also able to offer assistance with recording from an experienced professional videographer using high definition broadcast-standard equipment.Recordings lit sympathetically with high quality stereo audio. Edited versions of the video recording supplied in formats suitable for websites or social media, or on DVD.
Playing and singing in Services
From Sunday mornings to our music-centred carol services throughout the year to weddings, baptisms and funerals, music is at the heart of our worship. If you would like to contribute to our worship then get in touch. We are often able to make arrangements in return for use of our buildings as rehearsal space.
Recital series and concerts through the year
Through most of the year we have a recital series here at St Margaret’s. We’ve had some wonderful musicians and stream performances on Youtube. Entrance is free and musicians take away the donations so everyone wins! Come and join us or write to us if you’re a performer.
